I m looking to travel in 1AC with my wife in gauthami express, do we get a separate cabin ? How the berths are allocated for 1AC ? Now the availability seats are 06. Total how many berths are there for gauthami express (1AC).

goowthami express has a HA1 coach. it comprises of 2 cabins ( for 4 persons each) and 1 coupe ( for 2 persons)
the allottment of cabin/coupe is done during charting.
as u r a couple registered on same pnr, the chances of you getting a coupe is much more. still if you want a coupe, you can book at prs and request the prs clerk to exercise the option of coupe while booking. if booking at irctc, you can request for a coupe in writing to CCM, Zonal Head Quarters. availability of...
