This is a suggestion that our Railway board & ministry should increase the penalty charges for without tickets to Rs 500/- from existing Rs 250/- As at the time of Mr Lalu Prasad was minister I think he has guts 2 increase ,y can,t any Our New Railway minister Can't.
because 250 rs. in itself is significant amount. increasing the amount to rs.500 will increase the bribe to tte as people will pay rs.200-300 to tc and move away without receipt...many daily wage labours dont earn rs.250/day...agreed, travelling without tickets is a social evil, but then 250 is a huge sum i must say, atleast for me...
sri yadav increased the fine from rs.50 to 250 jus coz 50 was peanuts...people used to travel without ticket...even if caught, moved away smartly paying 50 rs.fine with no regrets...so 50 to 250 was justified...
