No way on earth would Digha have demand from Puri/VSKP. Strangely, both trains are from ECoR and not SER. Classic Example of brainless ECoR. There are so many better routes. They can run trains to SBC, NDLS, ALD, CNB, TPTY, MAS etc. Ex: Puri-SBC and VSKP-SBC even with bad TT would have a zillion times better occupancy.
Extend this to Bangalore then it will get good patronozation by the way instead of introducing new weekly b/n VSKP & TATA as announced in the budget the 12890 YPR-TATA frequency can be iincreased fm weekly to biweekly.I don't know why railways is not interested in introducing new trains b/n SBC & VSKP even though the route is having good scope...........
