Would like to mention my lastest experience atravelling by Deccan Queen. I Acutally book two tickets one for myself and mother ( Senior Citizen ). The very thought of trvelling by DQ after ages were gvivng us a thrill to experience this trip. Since the express way we stopped travelling by Train.
The day of travel arrive 15-Oct-2010. Did not ahve to check my watch as there was no doucbut you could set your waatch to teh train timing as She lived to her expectations. The train when started was to allure road & air traffic for smooth & sound travelling!!
With so much population, option & fast movement option, intercity train's are loosing relevance, once they use to be! Now, these arnt catering class apart & rail fan, but no discrimination exist & leaving name, its all are same & alike!!
