It ideally is.. now we cant contemplate much on this.. IR gives WAP7 and WAP5 to most of the Shatabdi;s when these can be hauled by WAP-1's and WAM4;s quite easily.
Absolutely Right... Loco's in this case like WDP-4D's should be given to Long Journey trains... Due to their Brilliant Acceleration capacity delays will be less...!! ;) Hope WDP-4D was just an Offlink for JS that day..!! :D
Thus Finally NO GOC WDP 4B\D for its own state TAMILNADU...........Till now no GOC WDP4B\D................in TN........all are sent to Kerala and konkan..........
does the JS loco have AC ???

NO... Out of the 9 WDP-4D's with GOC, I think only 2 or 3 locos have A/C cabs....
