12367/12368 should extend its route upto malda town. because the arr time of 12368 in bgp is 12.25 but the dep. time from bgp is almost after23 hour later. so u can see the wastage of time in bgp of this train is 23 hrs. if the train extend upto malda then it will get more & more passenger for new delhi ..

90% extensions will cause injustice to the place from where it is extended.
Malda Town has only 2 washing pits(25 coach length) which is already occupied the whole night by other trains which are in queue to get TXR maintenance....so ur proposal straight away rejected..please suggest extension to some other alternate station.
I agree that politics affects many decision but not all.Other than political reasons there're always some administrative reasons which decides whether or not to extend the services...I can cite eg from my own reason where there were neither any political pressure nor any demand for a particular route but train services were extended just because the previous originating station lacked basic amenities for TXR maintenance in yard.
