Rahul Srinivas 707 blog postsA miracle just happened. Wanted to book a ticket for my mom on the 19260 Bhavnagar - Kochuveli Express for July 14th on which my dad and sis had confirmed tickets.
The Availability in the General Quota from Vasai Road showed as RLWL14/WL14. There was the "Book" option on IRCTC and there were no seats left in the ladies quota. Sir, apologies for the off topic question here, but there seems to be no way to contact you directly (Send you a personal message) With due respect to your privacy, I had a question that had been lingering in my mind that I wish to ask you for quite some time. Let me know if there is a way to contact you through this site directly. I did try my luck through social media - and you would notice that if you happen to check your Facebook profile. :)
It is SS quota. Last year I also came through same experience. I booked an E-Ticket for four person with my mother was also traveling, with availability more than 50 in AC 3, I opted for two LB. But I got 2,3,5 and 6. :(. Logic left 1 and 4 (both LB). Then I cancelled my mother's name from ticket and booked another one for her, I got Berth '1' in the same cabin :) with SS quota. Hence with two different tickets, I was having B3-1,3,5,6.
