mani sankar 28 blog postsis thr status difference of seat allocation between Rsrvsn counter PC and the seat availability in the IR website, coz I've booked 3 tkts in this train for 25/7/13 and got 2upr & 1mdl seat, whr my mom & dad is Sr Czn., it was showing approx 11 seat for lower seat quota avlbl in website at the time of booking but the counter people told me thr is no lower seat avlbl, is thr any other option to get lower seat after booking, co both having problem

if you have checked in lower birth quota, but at PRS booked using normal quota so system allotted available berth which in your case is UM's and MB's. Book in lower berth quota is different. Lower berth quota is meant for senior citizen and women above the age of 45 "WHEN TRAVELLING ALONE'. If you want to avail it then book separate ticket in your case 3 separate tickets and you will all LB but compact accommodation will be available meaning in all probability you will get seats in different coach and not in same coach.
