you have partially wait list ticket then you have to take permission to board the same with TTE. Iff TTE not allow you to board the same coach then you have to travel in general class.... "
Nothing as such .... sort of based on any sentiments or kids factor.

In case of partially WL tickets, .......be it counter or online e-ticket, .. all passenger names will appear in the chart and eligible to board and travel.
@ In case of partially WL tickets, the passengers can also decide to cancel the journey and go for the whole ticket cancellation and full refund is possible subject to a reduction of Rs. 20/- per passenger towards clerkage charge.
@ In case of travel, the passengers under the partially confirmed ticket have to adjust amongst themselves on board. The TTE will not object to it and also if any vacant berths available on the spot, the TTE will allot.
@ For refund purposes only ..... A certificate can be obtained from the Ticket checking staff in the train regarding non-traveling of WL passengers on such tickets for the purpose of claiming refund thereafter.
