Luggage movements are hell and no coolie comes at rate card. Railway authorities have failed to implement the agreed rate card. People usually land up paying more than 3-4 times to the price in rate card.
Suggestions:
1. Cant we increase the price and religiously implement, using prepaid mechanisms. Possibility of IRCTC handling this efficiently
2. Constructing ramps instead of steps. This would help....

Some of the platforms in Bangalore (YPR) seems efficiently implemented.
3. Why Indians do not deserve high quality lifts at each platform
4. Why not individual trolleys to deserving passenger at a nominal fee
As a part of modernization budget in the current year itself, there should be a way to address this. Indian Railways...please do something here.
