Suppose someone had purposely filled the child column, even if no child was to accompany him, so that he may get LB and on preparation of chart he was provided an alternate accommodation. Now will the TTE object if he finds no child accompanying the passenger.Just curious to know.
Child name below 5 years are not displayed in charts and thus TTE is unaware of the fact.
Sir, the 'logic' of a small child being accompanied by a male is remote. The Passenger Reservation System detects this, as far as I have been informed by someone who was/is instrumental in defining and refining the logic of the PRS, and launching it.
Perhaps I could be wrong, as many changes have been introduced. But certainly there is a logic behind this which operates. You could try a test booking upto gateway and see what happens by giving a male passenger and see if you get a preference or not :)
