Thats not correct. Godavari, Krishna, Tungabhadara are never totally dried up. Maneru has a short flowing distance and originates in a dry region. There is a dam in Karimnagar which about 50 kms from this spot. Hence this spot in the photo would get water only when the dam gates are opened or atleast a small outlet letting the water flow down. River Pennar(Pinakini) is totally dried up in Anantapur Dist excepting for the Kadapa & Nelluru Districts.
