In my opinion, better to enjoy KR first as the entire route is scenic as compared to this one..this is scenic mostly after Miraj (prior to it the Daundaj curve area and Shindavane ghats are just majestic mountains but not that green as KR is)..after getting down at MAO, you may want to enjoy around and then take this train in the afternoon to Dudhsagar falls..
