All the fastest trains on this section (Ahmedabad Rajdhani, Jaipur Delhi Double Decker, Ajmer Shatabdi and BDTS Sarai Rohilla Garib Rath) are hauled by WDM3A or WDM3Ds. While WDP4,WDP4B and WDP4D hauled trains take at least 1 more hour extra than the above mentioned trains. Wdm3a hauled DD overtakes Wdp4d hauled Jaisalmer Intercity at Bawal station before Rewari daily. shame for EMD.
well Ajmer Shatabdi has WDP 4 series as a regular link... WDM series are given to those trains who has fewer stops on the stretch.... WDP has great acceleration the major factor y it is given to such trains and also it can hold a longer rake easily. because of extensive power.. some times shatabdi runs with WDM because its usual link is off duty...
