This highly demanded train at present is a 22 coacher. I think it should be immediately augmented by one AC 3 Tier and one AC 2 Tier as AC is in demand (WL) while SL is relatively empty...

5 3AC's is a little high. That could be added to some othr train towards kerala.
Even if Netravati has AC Coaches similar to Gujarat Mail.... It will be less compared to the crowd it gets...
May be they can keep an extra 3A can be kept as an standby to clear WLs....
It should be speeded up by atleast 2 hours also....

Netravathi Exp , Kerala Exp and Trivandrum Mail are the only 3 trains in Kerala to have four 3AC coaches. I dont think additional 3AC coach would be added. Maybe an extra sleeper coach can be added. Many new trains are having at least 4-5 general coaches. Netravathi could also add additional 2 unreserved coaches because i have seen lot of passengers entering sleeper coaches during heavy rush time since there is no place in general coaches and only 1 unreserved coach is available at either of the ends
That is the on the cards.. The DRM of TVC is trying to get Vallathol Nagar to TVC into the 100 Kmph zone.
I think it can be easily speeded up. Takes almost 5 hours between ernakulam and calicut. Other trains with same number of stops cover the distance in 4 hours or thereabouts.Also 1 hour and 15 min is allotted between thrissur and shoranur which is only a distance of 33 km!!
