Sir, its fairly simple. Do not depend upon any other site. You can go wrong.
I always use indianrail, gov.in and check the cost of one ticket. if there is a family consisting of 3 adults, I multiply the total fare by 3, if there is a minor or two, then I reduce the BASIC FARE by 50 percent, and add the booking charges, and then calculate the total. Note that infants below 5 years do not require tickets.
The choice is of course is of the person making such queries.

If you logic of base fare and half the fare then the child fare should be 70 Rs. If the senior female concession is 50% of the base fare then concession should 50 but it is showing 45 rs only. In senior male fare concession is 30% percent then the concession should be 30 rs but it show is 27. Check in Indianrail.gov.in
You need to know more about the complex fare structure . If you need more example some surprise calculation for senior citizen male and senior citizen female which as per rules should be 30 and 50 percent but the actual fare will be more than that. If you check for distance more then 200 KM you will have more surprises.

Thats why erail.in has given the fare calculator. Do not think other site person is not having knowledge.
