In SC - KRNT Intercity seats r available in CC. Can I board directly?
If I board directly TC will charge reservation charges or only base fare?

Inform the TTE before boarding. He will charge you only difference if you have a general tkt. If you dont inform the TTE before boarding then they charge you penalty also
if you have 2nd class mail/exp ticket to krnt from sc. you can board directly ( with TTE permission ). other option go to curent reservation counter and book CC ticket .
