Grievance Description : Sir/Madam, In Coimbatore Rly Junction new ticket counter built on the western entrance is still not opened for functioning..the existing facility on the eastern entrance point is fully overloaded whereas the western one lies idle non functioning.. considering the convenience of rail travellers when this will be rectified at the earliest.. I representing the travellers from coimbatore junction may request the authorities to do the needy and sort the issue..

The receipt of your grievance registered in the P.G.Portal regarding non-working of ticket window at western entry of Coimbatore Junction is hereby acknowledged by this office. The matter was looked into. Actually this counter was opened for few days and the number of tickets issued in this counter was found to be very low for utilizing one staff. Due to shortage of staff the counter was closed. Anyhow the matter is being taken to the notice of concerned officials for reviewing the same. Thanking you for having brought this to our notice.
