Can anyone kindly explain about the "on-line booking/reservation" procedure of Railway ticket? I need to book a ticket for 3 PAX two of whom Two are Sr. Citizens. How do one pay? Is Debit card acceptable?

Yes Debit card is acceptable,you need to have one user ID created on IRCTC site,log-in using that ID & book tickets as required. Link click here
