Husnain 2984 blog postsI travelled in this train recently, To my surprise it was not carrying any genretor cars and the ACs were funtioning on inverters. also there was no ovens in the coaches as a result food were cold and less likely to be tasteful. I could not understand why this DURONTO does not carry atleast one GENERATOR car.

The rakes of trains like Rajdhanis, Shatabdis ,Garib raths and Durontos are not self generating ones, although ICF. They require power from EOG for AC, lighting etc.
yeah they can..ive seen it bgp GR clocking 128km/h after MGS towards ANVT.. it was NZM Duronto coach which is permanent in BGP-GR now
