metro. Madgaon hosts the test track for Skybus Metro, an elevated rail system which is patented by the Konkan Railway Corporation. The Skybus Metro project was later scrapped due to an accident which occurred during the test drive killing one engineer and a seriously injuring a crew of three. However, Mr B Rajaram who had invented the rail system has stated that in his opinion, the accident was avoidable. Due to the accident that occured during the trials, the monorail never saw the light of the day. Madgaon Junction is the station where lines from Panvel Junction, Mangalore Junction, Vasco-da-Gama and Londa Junction meet. At the end, we see the single line section heading for Mangalore Junction, while we head for the Dudhsagar Falls, and the Braganza Ghats.
