tried a lot but failed...
can any one suggest the best weekend rail +/- road chain from bangalore to dudhsagar. i am fine with upto 15 20km of trekking. but sbc departure should be on saturday after 4pm and bangalore arrival on monday before 5am.

finally found a route-
1 take a bus on saturday noon to reach mangalore at 10pm
2 catch netravati from mangalore at 11 30pm to madgao (5am)
3 catch amravati express slip(18048) from mao to dds (9am)

Plan looks good except for the fact that is Bangalore-Mangalore journey possible in 5-6 hrs ?
