Travelled by this train from Bangalore to Murudeshwar and back last month. I have never fallen in love with any other train route as much as this.
* 80% of the route is breathtakingly scenic.
* The train is sparsely populated after Mangalore station; usually when you take the Kerala routes, it is beautiful outside but the claustrophobic feeling inside the train takes the joy out of you

Each station on the route is ultra clean and green!
* Take the SL coach even if 3A is available as you will not be able to enjoy the scenic beauty and smell of the Konkan in 3A
I want to take a train which goes the entire length of Konkan next time.
