Has the zone released such stop??
Politicians can't declare a stop, they can just request or demand. later the RB/zone gives it.

I really don't know the procedure for such things. But there is joint press release by local MP Jayaprakash Hegde as well as Kundapura Railway Hitarakshana Samiti. If you can read Kannada, please go through below link:

Kundapura Railway Hitarakshana Samiti and the MP can just request via press, but its up to RB and the Zone to decide whether to give stop or not.
