nobhonil10 2412 blog poststhis route is one of the most important route and needs to be strengthened ...........given the rate of increase of trains and speeds trains attain...its mandatory to upgrade the existing tracks,,,,,the soil near pakur-farakka-malda town is porous due to its proximity to ganga and so needs to be concretised......patch work of concretisation needs to be taken and time bound completion of this work needs to be done.........the whole section needs to be divided into parts and time should be fixed for separate parts...........even if this section is double it is not suitable for high speeds............

in IR high degree of proffessionalism means use of PLASSER track machine with BOBYRN & Flat bed wagons with concrete sleepers loaded on them..to use such technology on a 40 km stretch,IR requires flat 60 days of traffic block for a period of 7 Hrs.& that is as par with the IR fare structures..Please dont expect anything more.
