my pnr status is wl2/wl2 pqwl. curent status is wl52/wl49.why my ticket is not confirmed

my reservation is from cst mumbai to meerut city dated 26.12.10. my ticket status is wl 2/ wl 2 pqwl. today i check the booking status of this train and that is wl 52/ wl 49. the differece indicated three seats are confirmed. my ticket waiting is only 2 but it is not confirmed. why?
