another boarding point question ..
i am trying to get a ticket from ngp to kcg in 12708 for 16th oct...i am trying to book from nzm - kcg with boarding point as NGP ...previously as soon the BP changed the WL also used to change but now it is showing GNWL 46/6 even after changing the BP ..so does it mean tht BP change are working thru online tkt also and one doesnt need to go to PRS for this actiivty ..a speedy reply wud be appreciated..

so all journeys after 10th Oct ..for all e-tkt the BP can be changed online too..great !!!..
Now from 01-10-2013, the berths are allotted as per the quota of the original station indicated at the time of the booking and not as per the boarding station quota as it used to be earlier.
The passengers now can opt the boarding point as per his convinence at the time of booking for e-ticket and need not go to PRS to get his boarding point changed.
A welcome change indeed to the convenience of the travelling public.

FYI the New BP rule is effective from DOJ Oct 1st 2013 onwards not Oct 10th..
