WAM 4 - Father of the Nation for RailFans - Vikas Kumar

Hi travelled today by 12025 Pune-SC shatabdi in E1 coach. I ve been a frequent traveller by this train, but this time it was after some time. Had new experiences few of them pleasant.
The E1 while running with old ICF coach had some cosmetic changes such as including covers for the arm rest. Feedback forms for the maintainence of the coaches. Though one of the two washrooms was locked for some reason.
Big Plus: Drastic change in the pantry and meals. It's been a long while since I have tasted good food...

on IR. I ve written about the horrible quality of food being served on this train in my earlier posts, but seems like the contractor has been changed so now the lunch is loaded at Solapur while earlier it was from gulbarga.
The breakfast specially the quality of cutlets, coffee and fruits were on par with the breakfast served on any domestic airlines. Just thought of sharing this with all.
While this train will remain one of my favourites in spite of old coaches for its speed I hope the new LHB coaches come soon.
