in Kanpur belong to Poorvanchal (Gorakhpur and Deoria). The extension of the train would benefit the people of Poorvanchal living in the city. He said that this train remains halted at Lucknow railway station for 12 hours, therefore, its extension to Kanpur can benefit many people.
The railway minister told Jaiswal that he should seek co-operation from the finance minister for this purpose. "If this is done, the Krishak Express would be extended to Kanpur and even a new train between Kanpur and Gorakhpur can be provided," he said.
