Opposite side of Erode Railway few small restaurants are there its not good. when you come out of railway station just take Right and walk little distance there you find a road junction (Mid of the junction there will one bull statue control by a man) there you find good restaurants.

If possible, just take a bus and reach bus stand. Almost all the restaurants near bus stand are good. Though near bull statue good restaurants are there, in bus stand you will get much better and hygenic hotels.
