Brand new PUNE WDP4D#40153 with Pune-Karjat shuttle.
Finally after exciting and nervous wait at AKRD, managed to catch the new kid on the block :) PUNE Shed was allotted to new WDP4D's this week - WDP4D#40143 and WDP4D#40144. So the WDP4D#40143 sparkling here and looking handsome as it notches, honks and smokes away with the passenger. It was basically sent for testing on the ghats which I am not sure is right option. This is the first video of WDP4D in my channel. Just like other railfans, I am not a great fan of the WDP4D as its LHF ends resembles a tiffin box (flattened LHF End). They could have easily replaced this with piglet SHF design on both the ends...

train continues as pune baramati passenger within 20 min so gets diesel link from karjat itself... jst like case of indrayani..
omg! i thot 4d is symmetrical at both ends & theres no qstn of shf/lhf... but its one end is flattened! looking bit weird..
