Dear All, Child ticket alone will be issued at counters for unreserved general class?

bt ek baar sln jn PRS clerk ne mujhe ticket dene se mana kar dia tha 8years old boy ka ,mayne jb bki pax. Ke ticket dikhai tab usne booking ki
but, i booked a 3AC ticket for a 5yr old child at brp prs. Nothing asked.
Same thing Happened to me when I went to book ticket for a 7 yr old child.. the PRS clerk asked with whom he is going and When I gave him the PNR number then he booked and also endorsed the PNR number on the ticket... But there is absolutely no problem with UR ticket..
