East Coast Railway Initiative:
-------------------------------------
East Coast Railway, meanwhile, has started fitting its locomotives with four-beam headlights that will throw light on the tracks as well as on both sides allowing the driver to notice any movement of animals. This will come handy in forested stretches and curvatures. At present, the locomotives are equipped with two-beam headlights.

sir why only sguj apdj...let us introduce 25 kmph speed limit in NJP MLDT/KIR section too....after all its a matter of shame for entire N.Bengal.
Yes with this speed restriction the main sufferer will be the people of Doors... But i would say Siliguri & Jalpaiguri will too suffer... Because many people livelihood are dependent with Dooars region...I hope the initiative by East Coast Railway can be implemented here...
