my quary is not exactly regarding this train. if my ticket is under "waiting list " category, can i travel in general compartment

Yes. You have to cancel it. It has not been automatically cancelled yet. Further the WL PRS tickets can be cancelled at originating station only not at the the destination station.

I am sorry. i confused the timelines of filing TDR with this. You are right.
thank u very much to all of you i will take care in future i dont know the system. i am also surprised when i saw the refund credit amount in my bank account. but not thinking about technical point of view.
I think all WL eTickets have clearly written rules on printout.
