KrishMV~ 7493 blog postsAfter viewing the availability status on both sides i personally feel CR should permanently augment 3 more SL classes for this train before introduction this train proved it's gonna be hit train also running in one of the busiest routes CR should immediately augment more SL classes....

its a gud suggestion..but presently all mumbai-chennai trains running with 2 gens..front one,back one which not at all sufficient in dis route..as cr restricted to 18coaches in dis route better to add sl coach so dat totaling to 18 coaches..n dont forget even dr-ms running with 9 sl only
LTT doesn't have restriction like DR for 18 Coaches only,if not 24 coaches easily 2-3 coaches can be added..So better keep Gen as it is for the time being and add 2 SL & 1 3AC or 1 AB...Later if they think 6 Gen s of not that much use can trim 2 of them and add 1 SL & 1 AC Class.
thanx for the info..y they even not running11041/11027 with 24 coaches?is cstm alsm same prblm like dr?
CSTM has also restriction for only few PFs with 24 coach capacity...Our own admin S.V.Iyer wrote to RB via PG for the same to run new train between Mumbai & Chennai or atleast augment the present ones.

Reply was DR & CSTM have these Maintainence and space constraints and the route is now congested for new daily train..But just as a reprieve this weekly has been announced in the Supplementary budget.
