Hi there,
I would like to introduce myself my name is Don Sear and currently live in London. I am very interested in Indian Railways and would appreciate some assistance with a hobby of mine that is railway related. I am a collector of used train tickets worldwide and would appreciate some assistance in obtaining a variety of different tickets of Indian Railways used? There are a few questions I would like to ask:
Do all tickets get collected at the end of the journey?

Collected or just abandoned...both are true. In most of the big stations, Ticket checking staff will be waiting near exit to check the ticket from passengers and collect them normally (unless passenger demands that he needs it). Otherwise, passengers will abandon it.
