PK Sir told me on IRI that he has been watching this train since his childhood days when it originated from Sealdah. He told that this train is running since Pre-Independence Days joining Calcutta & Jammu via Dhanbad-Gaya Grand Chord Route. Himgiri Exp was another needed Superfast between these terminals which started in Late 1970s that too via Patna Main-Line Route. Now we need a more Superfast Train via Dhanbad-Gaya to join Calcutta & Jammu/Katra :-)
