Hi,
We are travelling to Madurai by 2nd AC in the 22629 Dadar TEN Express on 06 December.
We booked the tickets last week when the waiting list indicated 6, 7 and 8. However, after a week the status remains unchanged while the travel date is near; what are the chances of the tickets getting confirmed?

It is a very good train and also punctual.
But ticket availability is the problem.
I am not sure about confirm about your ticket, pls try in tatkal also.
