The motto of Indian Railways has always been 'Make hay while the sun shines.' The fares for this train are really high and passengers have been taken for a joy ride. This train is yet to reach it's destination and it may start its return journey after the Matsyagandha. Anyway, this is not surprising, Indian Railways does not recruit staff on merit.So a day train turning into a night train is definately not shocking. Keep it up CR and KR, make hay while the sun shines.

You are pressing the panic button too soon,brother. The prices cannot be lowered since it is a "Shatabdi" special. Fares are same for both regular as well as specials. We could expect better service once it is regularized.
Talking about DD, DD rakes are yet to reach Mumbai. And no test run has been started on KR. There are just fears(or unconfirmed reports) that Parshik tunnel will pose a problem. Let the DD rakes come and let them be tested.It will be too early to comment on that.
