MailguardSG25~ 24054 blog postsIRI availability status says AVL>461 but in none of the ARP days AVL>83 its hard to belive a train with S14(1008 berths) having so less booking available...though Tatkal having 305 berth...but GEN berth should also be not less than 450..someone please clarify whether any important intermediate booking is available?

Why railway is hiding so many berths from GEN booking? If they can allow these seats to be booked then can earn huge profit..if they keep so much of berths in HO then those will be illegally sold by touts & Rly wont be having any extra revenue...similarly if these berths are kept in Defence quota then DEF personnel will book them free of cost with the help of warrants...again rly will go into loss...only way is to keep these berths for GEN/RLGN booking for common man to book by paying exact amt & not any concession...
ER is better at least than WR & far more transparent....507 berths from ASN & 215 Tatkal....so 722 out of 1008 has been justified & remaining will be RAC,HO & GAYA quota....is WR one of the most courrupt zone?
