I was recently waiting at the Upper Class Waiting Room on Platform No 2 at Mughalsarai and was horrified to see that the whole waiting room was infested with rodents (big in size and numerous) running here and there totally oblivious to the passengers. In fact they were entering the open bags of passengers and one passenger had fallen asleep and woke up to find out that a big hole has been bitten at the bottom of one bag he had kept on the floor. The waiting room was stinking of smell from the toilets and there were no attendants. No one seemed bothered. If this is the state at one of the busiest intersection stations of India then what is the state of the smaller stations. If this is not tackled immediately I am sure Mughalsarai will soon be the Plague capital of India.
Its one of the imp station of rail network. Authorities shud at least keep the things at tolerable level.
