On what basis SWR operating this train, without any changes, atleast if it start from PDY on sunday it will be useful. But they have not done this till now from these years. As Railway minister is from Karnataka atleast now SWR official should bring notice to railway board. My personal choice if it operated via kjm-ajj-cgl-MLMR-VM route it will get decent patronage. Also chengalpattu-melmaruvathur will get first time connectivity to bangalore. No loco reversal needed.

he cannot extend it as it has rsa, but he can look at the loss incurred by this train, and may cancel or change the timings
