i check running status of 2301/2302 in trainenquiry.com and find most of the times train reaches dhanbad around 19:40(2301) and 6:45(2302). once i was at dhanbad railway station and 2301 reached at around 19:38. so why not railway reduce the time between HWH & DHN. there is no stoppage for this train in between HWH-DHn and train runs at 120-130 Kmph. so the time can easily be reduced by atleast 20 minutes. i think 2Hr & 40minute is fine. infact new Double decker Duronto will take 2hr & 30 minutes between HWH & DHN as reported in many newspaper.
The IR timetable committee regularly reviews the schedules of all trains and if they find something needs to be done to the timetable of this train it will be implemented.
