There are total 4 pass trains except this one between BSB & MAU and total 2 pass trains between BSB & SHG.
As a aam person of Azamgarh, I feel that there should be pass train between AMH & BSB/MGS via SHG, JNU.
I propose to re-route this pass from AMH to BSB/MGS via SHG.

This train was MAU-Manduadih Pass & use to remain idle @ MAU all night with Loco switch-off!!
With PIT-Line @ AMH, this got extended to AMH & so its re-route is out of question, as still mainly its focused to serve MAU-BSB Passenger with extension to AMH!!

But my friend, there are many pass train between BSB & MAU.
2 times Loco reversal for a pass train, is not justified as per my view.
It would be better to re-route as mentioned, financially or else let's it short terminated at Mau itself.

Where is 2 times LR?? Its just once & that too @ Mau Jn.!!
With its extension, AMH got connectivity to BSB @ least!!
Now u asking to remove the purpose of this train...one dedicated Pass for MAU-BSB!! I think its in RSA wth CPR-BCY/MUV Pass!! AMH Pass runs till MUV & return as CPR Pass while CPR Pass runs till BCY & returns as AMH Pass (kindly check, as CPR Pass goes till BCY while return from MUV while AMH Pass goes till MUV but return from BCY!! So, Pit Line maintenance
...
needed @ other end, which CPR & AMH provide for the rake (Financially viability)!!
PS: I reiterate:- AMH needs BSB connectivity via SHG..but not with some train hi-jacking!!

1 reversal at Mau and other at AMH.
It runs almost empty from Mau to Amh & vica-versa, is it logical.
What is the use of such connectivity which takes more time than Bus?
As the pitlines are being constructed at Mau, let it run between bsb & mau only. Atleast some fuel and manpower would be saved

If AMH is reversal, then its not 2 but 3 reversal,,,as MUV/BCY too gets reversal-->but then, does it called reversal & terminating & starting stations??!!
Yes, in case Mau got pit line, it mayb kept till at Mau Jn (but cant reroute via SHG)!!
Further, most passenger are slower than Bus service..dont think Mau-BSB bus would take more time than this pass (in case BSB isnt day-time road-congested)!! But who told Passenger took it just for BSB?? lots of in between station too prevail which arnt directly connected with AMH!!
