When WCAM can run with both AC & DC Traction,then why they are used only in CR & WR(Partially). Is there any demerits of using WCAM with AC traction?

So if Crew of other zones also get trained then WCAM can run all over India or not?

Yes.If crew is trained WCAM's are fit to serve the whole country.
But as per Hussain Sir said this will not be done. Also New locos WAP-4/5/7 are more technologically developed then WCAM's.

WCAMs will be phased out now.... they were only for ac/dc sections in the Mumbai region....
BHEL has stopped development of new WCAM locos long back. No new WCAM's is been developed since few years. Current WCAM-2/3 still have long life of 3-4 years still remaining. WCAM-1 has reached its end and are phased out.
