Ranikhet Express - रेगिस्तान में हरियाली

It is with great expectations from the new Railway Minister who has already shown she means business that I write to voice mine as well as others' concern at the perpetual inordinate delay in running of this train. We are a party who will arrive at Lucknow by 3005 Amritsar Mail at 1530 hrs. (scheduled time and usually maintained) and then board the connecting 3019 Bagh Express at 0005 hrs. the next day (i.e, after 12 midnight the same day) for Kathgodam on way to Nainital, after sightseeing at Lucknow. But the way this train runs even 7 hrs. late or more, it seems we may have to spend the whole night awake on the stn. platform! That too with children! Can something be done, please? Unfortunately, there is no other train direct to Kathgodam, the nearest railhead to Nainital.
