thewanderer^~ 3152 blog postsTRIP report part 1---travelled in this on 11.1.14 3ac. very good train but way too much slack given . journey time can be easily cut down by 1 hr . started effectively 15 mins late from hwh due to chain pulling/signal , made up with non stop run till mancheswar ,,stormed thru balasore , bhadrakh , jajpur ,entered bbs 5 min before , left 5 mins before as well . then from bbs to vzm it was a dream run , hardly ever got an amber .. hats off to ecor ,, who put their own rajdhani behind a freight nd gave all clear to the duro..:P reached vzm 37 mins before . left 37 mins before as well .. after vzm it struggled a bit when it was stopped for 10 mins near simhachalam ,, then i went to sleep. woke up to see that the train was coming to...

part 2-at BZA , we met down TN which soon left at around 4 am . announcements were on for up TN as well . we had a long stop of 37 mins and finally left at 4.27 am . woke up at 7.30 to find that we were crossing NLR ,, once again more than an hour before time . from NLR to GDR we went a bit slowly becoz of caution nd amber . took around 40 mins . we stopped for a while at GDR before reaching RU outer at 9.15 am .. here we were stopped for full 25mins . finally we ambled into RU at 9.50 am , 35 mins before time. Had idli nd vada at RU . left at 10.03 am ..we were given the green nd durontobabu continued on its merry way.. crossed katpadi at 11.40 and then crawled thru JTJ at 12.40...
