Porbandar Blue Train
Locomotive (WDM-3A) 18547 rolls into Jaipur Junction at the head of Train 9264, the MThO 08:25 Express from Delhi Sarai Rohilla [DEE] to Porbandar [PBR] in the state of Gujarat. This twice weekly train was running about 20 minutes late and assuming the lost time would be recovered en route, it was scheduled to arrive at its destination on the Arabian Sea at 13:20 the following day, a total journey of 1392 kms. The coastal city of Porbandar is the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi (2nd October 1869) and naturally attracts many visitors.
