I think that this train is traveling by the stretch which Howrah - Yeshwantpur Duronto Express uses which is a Bypass Track not touching Vizag :-p

Unfortunate it stops for 30 min at Durgapur and serve no purpose of bypassing.

Durgapur... would be Junction after completion of Durgapur - Joynagar Line. This train also stops at Hijli Stn which is 1 stop after Kharagpur Jn towards Bhubaneswar to serve KGP People. It's quite strange to see this train joining HWH-BBS Line at Hijli, bypassing KGP altogether :-p

i dont think so... A train scheduled to its shortest route and demand. As per route this is a very straight route where time can be saved in by passing HWH ,KGP where 45 minutes of stoppage is mandatory. By DHN RNC BSP NGP the route is huge and it will take a long haul to reach in YPR... NGP KCG route has alternative trains where as the KYQ-YPR is scheduled in easy access to Bangalore for the people of north east where time saving is very important for a dying patient. This train is specially provided for north eastern citizens where as Jharkhand citizen have other many alternatives from TATA BBS KGP ASN.
