i have booked a e ticket from chittor to srikakulam on 1-4-14 bbs exp i want to board the train at tirupati what can i do pl infrm there are no berths from tirupati but tickets available from chittor the tirupati station is very next stop after chittore shall i need boarding point pl infrm
Kindly change your boarding point from chittor to tirupati at nearest PRS Center to be on safer side. Though TTE usually waits for next halt for passengers to board but its not a rule. Go to PRS Center 24 hrs before departure of the train from source along with photocopy of your e-ticket,id proof and an written application requesting a change in boarding point. please note that there will be no change in your seat,nor the qouta will change.
Get your boarding point changed to Tirupathi with a request letter and a copy of e-ticket and ID proof at a nearest PRS.
Please visit nearest PRS with ID Proof,Ticket and give a written request for BP change it shall be done...This needs to be done at least 24 hrs before dep of train from org station.
